Call for Perfomances and Artistic Works

SBCM 2025 will include a music program centered on selected, from the call for contributions and invited proposal concerts for the second SBCM Festival. This year, the artistic program will feature concerts selected from this open call and curated sessions as part of the 2nd SBCM Festival, hosted at Teatro de Arena do Ciclo Básico and the CDC Auditorium at UNICAMP.

SBCM 2025 invites proposals that include musical composition and digital arts related to music in practice in the widest sense of the term (installations, performances, webart, interactive artistic systems, sound and music in visual arts, telematic, among others). In short, works that explore the intersections of computing, music, and other artistic and technological forms. While we encourage mixed electroacoustic works, please note that instrumental performers must be arranged by the artists themselves, as the organization will not be able to provide performers.

Proposals can be for existing works as well for new ones. Performance pieces should last for 5-15 minutes. Complex and time-consuming setup requirements may result in rejection.

Acessibility And Inclusion

The 2025 SBCM Committee would like to strongly stimulate the diversity of the proposing artists including and encouraging the participation of women, peripheral artists, black men and black women artists, LGBTQIAPN+ and even more.
