MURO, a band from Campinas formed shortly before the pandemic, plays music that is too slow to be punk, too pop to be noise, and too dirty to be threatened with success. Sometimes described as acid punk or krautcaipira, they are influenced by Velvet Underground, Stereolab, Yo La Tengo, and Pixies. They have independently released three EPs and one LP (Tulpa, 2022).
